📋 Description
• As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in our team, bringing your expertise in accounting practices and financial management. • Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with Australian Accounting Standards. • Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of services. • Provide expert advice on tax matters, including compliance with Australian tax laws. • Lead and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and excellence. • Collaborate with the Melbourne-based team to develop and implement financial strategies. • Handle complex accounting tasks including audits, budgeting, and financial forecasting. • Stay updated with the latest accounting trends and regulations.
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. • CPA or equivalent professional accounting qualification. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with a preference for experience in Australian accounting practices. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently. • Experience with Crypto is preferred but not crucial • Experienced using Xero and Xero Practice Manager
