📋 Description

• Set technical priorities within the team and coordinate complex engineering work • Drive API- and integration-related initiatives • Shape engineering decisions at squad level and help define the technical strategy • Develop scalable integrations, reliable interfaces, and sustainable platform capabilities • Write high-quality, secure, and performant code • Strengthen engineering best practices, resilience, backward compatibility, and maintainability • Break down complex requirements into pragmatic technical solutions • Translate product and business needs into reusable engineering capabilities • Drive process improvements and address technical debt strategically • Strengthen the scalability, security, and reliability of HERO Software’s integration systems • Act as a technical sparring partner and subject-matter contact • Support colleagues in their development and contribute to cross-squad initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• Strong full-stack engineering expertise • High standards for clean, efficient, and maintainable code • Strong judgment when making technical decisions • Experience and competence in API-driven and integration-heavy challenges • Understanding of reliability, clarity, and consistency in interface design • Clear communication and close collaboration across engineering and product teams • Ability to explain complex technical topics clearly • Willingness to take ownership beyond individual tasks • Enjoyment of supporting colleagues, sharing knowledge, and providing technical leadership to other engineers • Architectural perspective with a focus on scalability, reliability, and technical excellence • German at least at C1 level • Fluent English
