📋 Description

• The Field Support Technician I (FST A) is enthusiastic about EVs and a self-starter who will work closely with customers to ensure that Highland’s electric vehicles and charging stations are working properly and that buses can get students to where they need to be. • Responsibilities will include performing original equipment manufacturer-approved testing, repairs, and troubleshooting customer issues. • Highland will provide the relevant training to repair all local equipment including basic electric vehicle functions, Level 2 EV chargers to DC Fast Chargers, and communications equipment. • Currently offering relocation assistance.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 5+ years Electrician, Electric Vehicle, or Medium/Heavy duty truck Fleet repair experience • Advanced Diagnostic, Electrical, and AC skills required • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals • Knowledge of MS Suite products • Possess the recommended tools for a Medium Duty technician as well as electrical diagnostics tooling • Flexibility to work bus depot hours (early morning to afternoon) and weekends (when on scheduled shift) • Requirements within 12 months of employment: Commercial Driver’s License Required / Minimum 3 ASE certifications required (bonus compensation available if greater) / and Minimum of 4 OEM Certifications required (bonus compensation available if greater)
