âą Work with all areas of the business to understand their objectives and how you can aid them in make high quality decisions, fast and consistently. âą Develop strong working relationships with leaders in all areas in the business to allow for continuous adaptation to changes in the business. âą Develop data oriented solutions in the form of data models and systems that drive immediate business value and are strong enough to last âą Troubleshoot complex data issues and guide internal teams toward best practices. Ensure data quality and consistency by investigating discrepancies and improving upstream data processes. âą Prioritize projects across multiple departments while maintaining high quality and responsiveness. **** âą Contribute to internal tooling, documentation, and knowledge sharing to uplevel the team. Build standards, playbooks, and internal data products that make the analytics function more effective and scalable. âą Measure and communicate the business impact of your work with stakeholders. âą 3+ years working as an analytics engineer, data engineer, data scientist or similar âą Strong SQL skills and hands on experience working with cloud data warehouses âą Hands-on experience building complex data models with dbt âą Hands-on experience with Looker or Omni Analytics âą Experience designing data models/systems to be used by dozens of users âą Ability to differentiate between high vs low business impact activities âą Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences. âą Ability to balance immediate business needs with long term usability âą A high level of ownership of their work and is excited for more responsibility âą Thinks like a business analyst and executes like a software engineer
