📋 Description
• Lead the design and architecture of scalable and performant full-stack solutions • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers • Advocate your team’s technical needs and priorities • Participate in product discovery sessions • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create intuitive user interfaces • Work closely with other engineering teams • Contribute to the vision for the team and the platform • Implement observability practices across the platform • Elevate the team's engineering standards • Analyze performance metrics and user feedback • Create and maintain technical documentation • Conduct code reviews • Identify performance bottlenecks and propose enhancements • Stay updated with industry trends and propose innovative solutions • Act as a key contributor to the hiring process • Model a culture of open communication and continuous improvement
🎯 Requirements
• 7+ years as a software engineer, shipping production code • 3+ years of experience with back end distributed system design, development and delivery • 3+ years of experience with microservice architectures • Bachelor’s or higher in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience • Experience with technologies like Growthbook and Amplitude • Proven experience in building scalable web applications and services • Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks (React, React Flow, NextJS, GraphQL) and back-end technologies (Node.js, Hono.js, Nest.js, PostgresDB, Redis, Amazon SQS) • Proficiency with full stack delivery and hosting of micro-frontends and microservices on Kubernetes and AWS • Experience with agile software development and delivery methodology • Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes • Experience with Relational Databases, PostgreSQL preferred • Nice to have: Experience with optimizing experimentation and customer journeys with AI/ML
