📋 Description

• Work alongside outcome teams to solve complex technical problems spanning systems, teams, or domains • Pilot new tools, patterns, and practices through production work before broader adoption • Facilitate the architecture forum and establish processes for documenting, communicating, and revisiting decisions • Guide evolution of the web and mobile platform across Vue 3, Quasar, Capacitor, Node.js, Firebase, Firestore, and Google Cloud Platform • Evaluate and recommend build, buy, adopt, or retire tooling and framework decisions • Solve and deliver complex cross-cutting problems in production • Establish shared technical standards for code quality, testing, APIs, data modelling, documentation, and system design • Surface and prioritize technical debt, performance, scalability, and system-health risks • Strengthen internal ownership through documentation, knowledge-sharing, and hands-on collaboration • Build alignment across teams through the Lead Engineers guild • Advance responsible AI-assisted development practices • Mentor Senior and Lead Engineers through pairing, design review, feedback, and problem-solving • Contribute to the engineering career ladder, levelling, calibration, and technical assessment in hiring • Partner with QA, Product, and DevOps to design in quality, testability, and operability • Support compliance and audit readiness in a regulated healthcare context • Achieve clearer architecture decisions, system ownership, risk plans, AI-assisted development improvements, and stronger engineering decision-making within 6–12 months

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Senior, Lead, or Principal Software Engineer, with a track record of delivering complex, production-grade systems • Deep technical capability and hands-on production coding experience • Deep proficiency in Vue 3 and Node.js, with strong full-stack understanding • Strong practical experience with Domain-Driven Design, including bounded contexts and tactical DDD in code • Solid experience with Firebase, Firestore, and Google Cloud Platform services • Track record of setting and influencing technical direction across multiple teams • Deep architecture experience with layered systems, event-driven architecture, and modular monoliths • Ability to connect architecture and technical trade-offs to product goals, customer needs, business outcomes, and responsible growth • High code-quality standards • Clear written communication through design documents, architectural decision records, standards, and review feedback • Comfort operating in ambiguity and navigating disagreement constructively • Strong interest in AI-assisted development and modern engineering workflows • Experience in an empowered product-team model is a plus • Experience in healthcare, regulated technology, or privacy-, security-, and quality-sensitive environments is a plus
