📋 Description
• Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines using Ascend.io, GCP native services, and Python • Build reusable, optimized, and scalable data workflows to support analytics and business intelligence teams • Collaborate with data analysts, engineers, and architects to ensure seamless data integration across platforms • Ensure data quality, security, and compliance throughout the pipeline lifecycle • Perform root cause analysis on data issues and resolve performance bottlenecks • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
🎯 Requirements
• 5 to 12 years of experience in Data Engineering / ETL Development • Hands-on expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) – especially BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage • Proven experience with Ascend.io for building declarative pipelines and orchestration • Strong programming experience in Python for data transformation, scripting, and automation • Proficiency in SQL and data modeling techniques • Experience with data governance, quality checks, and performance tuning of data systems • Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development environments.
