• Develop and implement long-term category strategies with a focus on innovation and diversity • Execute sourcing plans including market analysis, category roadmaps, and value chain assessments • Collaborate with Buyers across Europe to drive alignment and performance • Build strong supplier relationships to secure competitive pricing and high-quality services • Lead supplier performance reviews and strategic planning discussions • Partner with cross-functional teams to guide category-related activities • Promote continuous improvement initiatives (CIPS) within assigned categories • Drive cost-reduction efforts through effective negotiations and internal collaboration
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration / Engineering or relevant experience • 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing and sound strategic sourcing knowledge • Proven ability to define and execute sourcing strategies • Strong analytical and communication skills • Experience with data analysis and forecasting tools • Ability to lead in a matrixed, multicultural environment • Fluent English (spoken and written); other languages are a plus • Willingness to travel (20–30%)
