📋 Description

• Serve as the link between data center infrastructure and Hitachi Energy’s expertise in transformers. • Engage customers early in the sales cycle—prospecting and opportunity development by providing technical and strategic insights. • Act as the voice of the customer within the organization, communicate technical preferences, deliver training, and ensure proposed solutions align with market needs. • Support the implementation of the Product Group Transformers (PGTR) strategy, driving profitable growth and reinforcing Hitachi Energy’s position in the Data Center segment. • Lead regional Application Engineering activities & support Business Development activities related to DtC by understanding Market Trends. • Organize and conduct Customer Transformer Trainings (CTT’s), attend industry conferences, customer visits, specification influencing recommendations & reviews, off cycle technical and knowledge support. • Engage factory and tender engineering teams to develop trust, acceptance and team integration. • Develop technical presentations and influence senior managers on technical matters.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor/ Master degree in Electrical or electromechanical or equivalent Engineering • A master’s degree or Accreditation or participation in industry technical bodies (CIGRE, IEC etc.) is a plus. • Minimum 10 years of experience with 5 years of experience in technical roles like transformer design, technical interaction, directly with customers in a tender or order execution capacity. • Exposure to the sales and order execution process is a plus. • Intercultural sensitiveness is required, with colleagues and customers from multi-countries in assigned region with good communication skills in oral and written. • Proficiency in English a must, other European languages is a plus. • Be willing to travel ~ 30 to 50%.
