📋 Description

• Install, modify, and test high-voltage GIS equipment at customer sites. • Lead technical field assignments and make critical decisions. • Direct field teams and subcontractors to meet project goals. • Ensure construction meets drawings, specifications, and quality standards. • Promote safe practices and meet all health, safety, and environmental requirements. • Perform and document field testing and inspections. • Recommend improvements for performance and customer satisfaction. • Travel frequently to project sites, sometimes for extended periods.

🎯 Requirements

• Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States. • 2-5 years of proven experience in technical field service work. • Technical diploma/degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) preferred. • Trade education and experience in Industrial Mechanic and Electrical fields will be considered. • Strong mechanical and electrical skills. • Experience leading crews on electrical projects. • Ability to read and interpret contracts, specifications, and technical drawings. • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and test equipment software. • Able to travel up to 80%, including to Canada and Mexico. • Valid US driver’s license. • Fluent in English.
