📋 Description

• Ensure the safe, timely testing and commissioning of Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) across the UK • Take ownership of the coordination and execution of on-site testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities • Use working knowledge of Gas Insulated Switchgear to make informed decisions on technical matters • Proactively collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects/services are safely delivered • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and implement necessary quality assurance measures • Build relationships with customers, pursue new business opportunities, and ensure satisfaction • Prepare field-related reports, protocols, and updates on site progress

🎯 Requirements

• BSc/BEng in electrical engineering or HNC equivalent with demonstrable experience • Experience in testing and commissioning Medium Voltage (MV) /High Voltage (HV) switchgear and use of associated equipment • Certification in GIS commissioning is desirable (Technical training is provided) • Analytical and proactive problem-solving skills to handle project challenges • High attention to detail and focus on handing over safe and reliable switchgear • Good communication skills, ability to communicate at all levels • Valid UK Driving License
