📋 Description

• Join Hivebrite! Build the foundation of Hivebrite’s AI-powered, API-first platform — and help scale communities driving change worldwide 🌍 🚀 • Hivebrite is an all-in-one community management and engagement platform. Our mission is to provide organizations with the tools they need to create impactful communities. • As a Senior Backend Engineer, you'll be instrumental in driving this transformation. • You’ll work across product and platform initiatives to design and build scalable backend services using Ruby, Python, Node.js/TypeScript, or Golang. • Drive performance and reliability improvements, leveraging async queues, caching strategies, and data modeling. • Implement AI-powered features (personalization, automation, recommendations) in collaboration with Product and Data teams. • Elevate our internal developer experience, integrating AI tooling (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor) and streamlining CI/CD workflows.

🎯 Requirements

• Proficient in on of these stacks Ruby, Python , Node.js/TypeScript, Golang • Track record of building high-scale backend systems (millions of users, high throughput, distributed architecture) • Experience with service extraction and API-first designs • Solid grasp of distributed systems , async processing, observability, and modern caching strategies • Interest or hands-on experience with AI/ML applications in product or engineering contexts • Familiar with Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP), and modern DevOps tooling • Collaborative, thoughtful communicator who enjoys leading cross-functional technical efforts • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
