Hoffnungsträger Stiftung is a German foundation and hybrid social enterprise that builds and scales programs to advance “hope” as a practical force for social change. It creates and operates integrative housing projects (Hoffnungshaus), builds affordable housing and kindergartens, runs restorative-justice and resocialization programs, and provides philanthropy services and impact-investment structures. Guided by Christian values, the organization combines capital, operational competence and partnerships to support communities across multiple countries (their site cites activity in ~20 countries, 50,000+ people supported and 411 Hoffnungshaus® apartments).
