• Prepare and review captive financial statements • Provide accounting oversight and ensure regulatory and corporate compliance • Lead the day‑to‑day and long‑term management of assigned captive insurance programs • Act as a strategic advisor to clients on captive design, optimization, and performance • Analyze and communicate financial results, including underwriting performance, surplus, reserves, and projections • Prepare and present board materials, financial reports, actuarial analyses, and business plans • Coordinate with actuaries, auditors, attorneys, fronting carriers, reinsurers, and regulators • Ensure compliance with captive domicile requirements and governance best practices • Identify opportunities for innovation, program enhancements, and captive growth strategies • Mentor and support captive team members, fostering development and collaboration • Participate in client board meetings and strategic planning discussions
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, risk management, finance, insurance, business, or a related field • 7+ years of experience in captive insurance management or related risk consulting • Strong knowledge of captive structures, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements • Proven experience managing complex client relationships • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills • Professional designations such as ACI, CPCU, ARM, CPA, or similar. • Experience working with multiple captive domiciles.
