📋 Description

• The Sr. Data Scientist works with price optimization based on future forecasted outcomes of price and promotions. • Responsible for leading data science initiatives that drive business profitability, increased efficiencies and improved customer experience. • Assists in the development of the Home Depot advanced analytics infrastructure that informs decision making. • Serves as a lead on data science projects, collaborating with project/product managers, providing prioritization of tasks, balancing workload and mentoring data scientists on the project team. • Expected to present insights and recommendations to leaders and business partners and explain the benefits and impacts of the recommended solutions.

🎯 Requirements

• Must be eighteen years of age or older. • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States. • Proficient with Linear Optimization tools (Gurobi preferred) • Past experience developing Optimization solutions and Deep Learning solutions in a professional environment • 6+ years of experience in business intelligence and analytics • PhD in a quantitative field preferred (Computer Science, Math, Statistics, etc) • Proficient in Python and SQL • Mastery utilizing statistical techniques to identify key insights that help solve business problems • Demonstrated proficiency in predictive modelling like optimization, forecasting, or recommendation • Demonstrated proficiency in predictive modelling, data mining, and data analysis.
