HORIZON USHER FOUNDATION is a non-profit foundation founded in 2022 that raises funds and accelerates medical research into Usher syndrome and retinitis pigmentosa. It develops creative projects and events—across fashion, film, gastronomy and other artistic disciplines—in collaboration with brands and institutions to raise awareness, generate donations, and advocate for people affected by combined hearing and vision loss. The foundation was started by Benjamin Demarquilly and focuses on funding cutting-edge research while using public-facing campaigns and inclusive events to change mindsets and offer hope to patients and families.

📋 Description

• Define and implement an international PR strategy • Propose and pitch editorials, projects and interview opportunities to magazines, radio and TV • Target and build press contacts (fashion, arts, social impact, international) • Organize interviews, profiles and feature stories • Promote the foundation's current and upcoming projects • Advise on storytelling and media communications • Support the development of an ambassadorial public image for the foundation's vision

🎯 Requirements

• Experienced Press Officer or PR Manager • Strong press/media network (France and international) • A strong affinity for fashion, photography and social impact • Ability to pitch compelling, human-centered stories • Passion for unique, committed projects with an artistic dimension
