• Analyze data from various sources (claims, provider, member, encounter) to identify trends and assess business impact. • Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot complex reports and scripts using SQL, Excel, and other analytics tools. • Contribute to the execution of large-scale projects with minimal direction. • Assist in the design and implementation of process improvements and automation. • Perform root-cause analysis of data irregularities and provide actionable solutions to leadership. • Manage multiple data-related tasks within deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Collaborate cross-functionally to present data-driven insights to non-technical business stakeholders. • Engage with customers to gather requirements and validate results. • Provide guidance to junior analysts.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred). • 4+ years of experience working with large databases and data management or 2+ years of IT experience. • Experience with SQL and querying languages. • Strong understanding of data analysis techniques such as trend analysis, root-cause analysis, and data mining. • Preferred knowledge of Python, R, and modern BI tools like Microsoft PowerBI. • Experience in healthcare analytics and familiarity with claims payment, utilization management, and risk adjustment for government-sponsored healthcare is a plus.
