📋 Description

• Build and optimize data pipelines and analytical tools for scale • Collaborate with both technical and non-technical areas of the business • Contribute to core data assets for equitable book of business assignments • Build and maintain semantic models for analytics and AI consumption • Build out scalable data models for the HubSpot business • Expand suite of dbt patterns and macros • Support data observability and pipeline reliability • Build analytical applications in Hex • Gather requirements with internal stakeholders • Document data pipelines, processes, and best practices • Contribute to shared analytics best practices across HubSpot’s broader data community

🎯 Requirements

• Working knowledge of modern data tools (such as Snowflake, dbt, and Looker) • Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, ETL, ELT, and data transformation • Hands-on dbt experience including modeling patterns, macros, and testing • Experience developing slowly changing dimension (SCD) tables from multiple sources • Comfort working through inherited complexity • Effective communication across multiple modes • Experience writing and reviewing technical documents • Experience contributing to cross-functional data initiatives • Familiarity with semantic models or metric layers for analytics consumption • Comfort with AI-assisted development tools • Experience utilizing version control tools (such as GitHub Enterprise Cloud) • A collaborative mindset with strong attention to detail
