📋 Description

• provides operational leadership for build, maintenance, submission, and updating of formularies and drug lists • work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action • ensures accuracy of formularies and utilization management (UM) criteria in the Centralized Formulary System • collaborates with healthcare professionals, pharmacists, and other business functions to operationalize formularies • performs formulary analysis and reporting to ensure optimal operational flow • develops key performance indicators and plans to improve overall process improvements and efficiency • creates formulary management process and training documentation • understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas • makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and guidance where needed

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree • Less than 5 years of technical experience • Strong consultative skills and relationship building skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Excellent planning and organizational skills • Prior demonstrated experience with process improvement or process design and implementation roles • Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Visio, Excel and Access • Ability to work on multiple projects • Ability to successfully handle change in a fast paced environment
