📋 Description

• Conduct activities of a preparatory or auxiliary character to develop Hunter's business in an assigned territory • Collect and communicate business-progress information with the regional team and next-level managers • Train, educate, and support specification activities for contractors, distributors, designers, and government agencies • Maximize Hunter's exposure and success • Facilitate demand for Hunter products at multiple levels to achieve distribution goals • Act as a local intermediary and recommend distribution changes when necessary • Inform management about territory events, occurrences, and pertinent information • Alert management to potential customer credit problems and recommend credit-line adjustments • Manage an individual budget and expenditures within allocated limits • Execute customer training programs, trade shows, and promotional events • Develop relationships with irrigation consultants, landscape architects, municipalities, and local government agencies • Visit stakeholders to explain Hunter products and features for project specification • Direct field service and support as required • Advise on warranty policies and procedures in line with company policy • Assist in collecting data for forecasts and market-data reports • Travel as needed to accomplish goals

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent four-year degree in business administration, marketing, landscape architecture or 5 years equivalent-industry and technical experience • Minimum of five years of professional business management, installation, or technical support experience within the irrigation industry • Knowledge of commercial channels, pricing, marketing, and distribution models within the industry • Effective specification and presentation skills, with the demonstrated ability to attain goals • Ability to explain the features and benefits of Hunter products • Ability to conduct training and educational programs • Technical knowledge of company and competitor products • Ability to perform field service, troubleshoot irrigation systems, and recommend solutions • Knowledge of finance and budgeting processes • Ability to prepare budgets and manage expenses within budget • Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in English or regional languages • Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships and provide a high level of customer service and support • Willingness to travel extensively, live in a strategic location within the territory, and work flexible hours • Basic computer skills using Windows programs, word processing, spreadsheets, and databases • Valid driver's license and driving record sufficient to meet company insurance requirements • Must have or be able to obtain a valid passport • Fluency in languages commonly spoken within the region • Knowledge of regional business and cultural practices • Irrigation Association (IA) Level II certification, with additional Level III certifications preferred • Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
