📋 Description
• Review architectural and structural drawings for permanent formwork projects. • Read, interpret, and mark up construction plans. • Quantify materials required for each project. • Prepare detailed bills of quantities (BOQs). • Generate accurate quotations using the company's itemised pricing system. • Verify measurements and ensure estimates are complete and accurate. • Maintain organised project files and estimating documentation. • Liaise with internal team members to clarify project requirements when necessary. • Assist with scheduling and tracking estimating workloads to ensure timely quote delivery. • Continuously identify opportunities to improve estimating accuracy and efficiency.
🎯 Requirements
• Previous experience in estimating, scheduling, or quantity surveying within the construction industry. • Strong ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings. • Experience preparing material take-offs and bills of quantities. • Proficiency with Bluebeam is highly regarded. • Experience using estimating software such as PlanSwift or similar estimating platforms is also welcomed. • High level of accuracy and attention to detail. • Strong numerical and analytical skills. • Excellent organisational and time management abilities. • Ability to work independently while managing multiple estimates simultaneously. • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
