📋 Description

• Prepare accurate cost estimates and take-offs for high-end residential construction projects. • Review architectural drawings, specifications, and supporting documentation. • Produce detailed material and labour estimates using Bluebeam or similar estimating software. • Ensure estimates are completed within agreed timeframes. • Liaise with internal stakeholders as required to clarify project details. • Maintain accuracy and consistency across all estimating documentation.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience estimating residential construction projects within the Australian construction industry. • A solid understanding of Australian construction terminology, methods, and standard building practices. • Experience using Bluebeam or a comparable estimating software (essential). • Experience with Buildertrend estimating (preferred but not essential). • Experience converting take-offs (from Bluebeam or similar) into Excel/CSV format for import into Buildertrend's estimating module (essential). • Advanced Excel skills (cost plan templates). • Experience estimating high-end residential projects in the $2M–$10M+ range. • Ability to estimate from structural engineering drawings, not just architectural. • Experience costing provisional sums and PC items for bespoke/high-end finishes. • Strong written and verbal English communication skills. • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills. • The ability to work independently, prioritise workload, and consistently meet deadlines.
