📋 Description

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases. • Perform functional, regression, integration and user acceptance testing across web and mobile applications. • Validate new and changed features against requirements, specifications and intended user outcomes prior to release. • Verify bug fixes before production deployment. • Identify, document and prioritise software defects. • Maintain testing documentation and quality standards. • **Mobile Application Testing** • **Current Platforms** • Test native iOS applications. • Test native Android applications. • Validate application functionality across multiple devices and OS versions. • Test offline functionality and background behaviour. • Validate push notifications and permissions. • Perform device orientation and usability testing. • Support beta testing through TestFlight. • **Future Platforms** • As our products transition to Kotlin, the QA Specialist will progressively support testing of Kotlin-based Android applications. • **Release Validation** • Verify production readiness before releases. • Validate fixes following deployments. • Assist with release sign-off. • Ensure defects are appropriately documented and retested. • **Documentation** • Create detailed test and bug reports. • Maintain testing documentation. • Develop reusable regression test suites. • Document testing procedures and outcomes. • Produce release-readiness summaries that give the team confidence to ship (including test plans, coverage, results, known issues, and sign-off). • **Process Improvement** • Improve QA workflows and testing processes • Establish repeatable testing standards • Contribute to release processes and quality metrics

🎯 Requirements

• At least 4 years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance (QA), including manual testing of web and mobile applications. • Strong experience with API testing using Postman or similar tools. • Proficiency with Jira, test case management, bug reporting, and defect tracking. • Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, test planning, test execution, and quality assurance best practices. • Experience building or maintaining automated test suites. • Willingness to learn CI/CD, release engineering, and deployment tooling. • Ability to communicate technical issues clearly. • **Preferred Skills:** • Automated testing frameworks • SQL/database testing • CI/CD environments • Agile development environments • Experience with TestFlight. • Familiarity with the Apple App Store release process and Google Play Console. • Experience installing and testing APK/AAB builds. • Exposure to Android Studio, Kotlin, mobile debugging, and crash log analysis.
