📋 Description

• Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns, and workpapers for Australian clients • Handle day-to-day accounting tasks, including reconciliations, BAS preparation, and compliance support • Use Xero Tax, Xero Ledger, Xero Practice Manager (XPM), and FYI Docs to manage workflows and documentation • Use Ignition, Adobe PDF, MS Office, and AccountKit to support accounting and client processes • Liaise with onshore accountants to clarify issues, resolve discrepancies, and meet deadlines • Support the practice lead by proactively managing workload and identifying efficiency improvements

🎯 Requirements

• 3–5 years of accounting experience; Australian public practice experience highly preferred • Strong working knowledge of the Xero stack, including Xero Tax, Xero Ledger, and Xero Practice Manager (XPM) • Strong working knowledge of FYI Docs and general accounting software • Proficiency in Ignition, Adobe PDF, and MS Office, including Excel and Word • Familiarity with AccountKit is a plus • Ability to quickly pick up processes and work effectively in a remote setup • Willingness to focus on preparation and review work, with no ATO lodgement responsibility • Must be based in the Philippines • Must disclose existing ongoing roles or client work • Must reflect this engagement on LinkedIn as “Independent Contractor”
