• Independently design, analyze, and optimize HVAC systems for various projects. • Size Domestic Hot Water (DHW) and Heating Hot Water (HHW) systems. • Support electrification projects and system upgrades. • Assist with tenancy fitout works, including redesigning AHU systems to accommodate new layouts. • Work on projects within existing buildings, coordinating staging and minimizing disruption to ongoing operations. • Prepare technical drawings, schematics, and tender documentation using AutoCAD. • Perform heat load calculations using relevant software (Carrier E20-II knowledge preferred). • Write clear and concise technical reports. • Ensure all designs comply with NCC, AS1668.2, and where applicable, AS 3500 standards.
🎯 Requirements
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer with a focus on HVAC systems. • Strong knowledge of DHW/HHW system sizing and electrification projects. • Experience with tenancy fitouts and redesign of AHU systems. • Ability to work on existing buildings and manage staging around functional systems. • Proficiency in AutoCAD and drafting of mechanical schematics. • Experience with heat load calculation programs (Carrier E20-II preferred). • Strong report writing skills. • Familiarity with NCC and AS1668.2 (mandatory); AS 3500 (preferred). • Excellent problem-solving and independent working capabilities.
