📋 Description

• Own on-page and technical SEO across approximately 10–20 client WordPress sites • Conduct technical audits and resolve crawl issues, indexation problems, redirects, site structure issues, Core Web Vitals and schema • Optimise websites for Google and AI search, including AI Overviews and LLM answers • Structure content and schema to improve citation in AI search results and track visibility • Use AI for research, clustering, brief generation, first-draft copy, bulk metadata, audit summaries and report commentary, with human review before publication • Build repeatable AI workflows for SEO delivery • Perform keyword research and create content briefs mapped to client services and commercial intent • Write and optimise page copy, metadata and blog content • Optimise Google Business Profiles and local SEO for Western Australia service-area businesses • Create monthly client reports in Looker Studio explaining changes and causes • Monitor rankings, traffic and conversions and proactively flag declines • Perform migration QA, including pre-launch SEO checks, redirect maps and post-launch verification • Collaborate with developers on implementation and conduct live QA • Provide proactive recommendations to the Head of SEO and Perth team • Report directly to the Head of SEO in Perth • Disclose existing ongoing roles or client work and reflect the engagement on LinkedIn as “Independent Contractor”

🎯 Requirements

• Philippines-based candidate • 5+ years in SEO, including at least 2 years in an agency managing multiple client accounts simultaneously • Demonstrable daily use of AI tools in real SEO delivery, such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or similar • Ability to evaluate and edit AI output with strong editorial judgment • Working understanding of AI search, including AI Overviews and LLM answers • Genuine technical SEO capability, including diagnosing crawl reports and specifying fixes • Strong WordPress experience, including Yoast or RankMath, page builders, and plugin-level troubleshooting • Google Search Console, GA4 and Looker Studio proficiency to a reporting-ready standard • Daily use of Screaming Frog or equivalent and SEMrush or Ahrefs • Excellent written English • Ability to work independently across a portfolio and manage priorities • Reliable home office setup and stable internet • Availability from 8:00am to 4:00pm AWST • Nice to have: n8n, Make or Zapier; Custom GPTs, Claude Projects or prompt libraries; light Python or Apps Script; HTML and CSS; Cloudflare, GTM, Zaraz or server-side tagging; WooCommerce or e-commerce SEO; Google Ads; mentoring or QA experience; Australian market or English-speaking Western client experience
