• Lead and mentor the engineering team, promoting best practices and technical excellence • Design scalable, maintainable digital solutions using the Microsoft .NET ecosystem and CMS platforms (Umbraco preferred) • Provide technical leadership throughout the entire project lifecycle • Build and maintain complex full-stack web applications • Collaborate with clients to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions • Lead technical discovery sessions, architecture planning, and solution design • Establish and improve engineering standards, development processes, and delivery practices • Review code and ensure high-quality technical outputs across projects • Support technical pre-sales by contributing to proposals, estimates, and solution presentations • Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide technical guidance to the wider team • Promote secure software development practices and technical governance • Drive continuous improvement across engineering capability, tooling, and processes
• 10+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack .NET Developer • 5+ years of experience designing enterprise-level solution architectures • Proven experience leading and mentoring software engineering teams • 3+ years of hands-on experience with a .NET CMS platform (Umbraco highly preferred) • Strong expertise in C#, ASP.NET, .NET Framework, and/or .NET Core • Experience designing and building scalable web applications • Strong database development, optimisation, and administration skills • Solid understanding of front-end technologies and modern JavaScript frameworks • Experience working across the full software development lifecycle • Strong knowledge of software architecture principles and design patterns • Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and presenting technical solutions • Strong understanding of secure software development and application security • Knowledge of penetration testing principles and security best practices • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills • **Nice to Have:** • Extensive experience with Umbraco CMS • Experience working within digital agencies or consulting environments • Experience contributing to technical pre-sales and solution consulting • Experience defining engineering standards and governance • Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure • Experience leading multiple concurrent technical projects
