• Assign accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes for orthopedic diagnoses, procedures, and services. • Perform Orthopedic coding to support value-based care initiatives. • Review medical records for completeness and compliance with coding guidelines. • Work within multiple EMR systems and adapt to project-specific workflows. • Meet or exceed productivity and quality metrics consistently. • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to resolve coding discrepancies. • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding regulations, including CMS and payer-specific guidelines.
• Active coding certification required (e.g., RHIA, RHIT, CPC, COC, CIC, CRC, or CCS). • Minimum 2 years of Orthopedic experience (orthopedic coding preferred). • Proficiency in ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding, with a focus on orthopedic specialties. • Experience with multiple EMR systems; familiarity with other Multi-Specialty coding is a plus. • Ability to maintain 95%+ accuracy while meeting productivity standards. • Private, distraction-free workspace with high-speed internet (hard-wired connection required). • Must be available during business hours Mon-Friday for the first week of training. • Must pass a background check, drug test, credential verification, and possess a high school diploma or GED.
