📋 Description

• Build backend systems for brand measurement used by major advertisers • Own features from customer problem through production • Design and develop microservices and RESTful APIs for the analytics platform • Build data pipelines processing large volumes of advertising and survey data • Integrate LLMs and causal inference into production customer workflows • Generate visualizations and plain-language campaign-performance insights through the internal AI analyst • Build Python analytics services and React frontends when features span the stack • Deploy and operate systems on Kubernetes and AWS • Automate deployment through CI/CD and monitor systems with DataDog and Sentry • Productionize statistical models with Data Science • Shape features in collaboration with Product • Mentor others and share technical knowledge

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience across APIs, data systems, and distributed infrastructure • Track record of clean architecture and reliable systems • Experience building RDBMS-backed backends with Java/Kotlin, Spring Boot, Django, Rails, or Express • Experience building single-page frontends in React, Vue, or Angular • Knowledge of UI frameworks, microservice architectures, databases, and cloud platforms • Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot • Structured practices including testing, documentation, CI/CD, and code review • Observability, cost, and reliability mindset • Ability to mentor others and share knowledge • Strong plus: Java, Kotlin, or Groovy with Spring Boot or Grails • Strong plus: Presto and relational versus NoSQL tradeoffs • Strong plus: AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform • Strong plus: React/Redux • Strong plus: startup experience and comfort with ambiguity • Strong plus: AdTech, MarTech, or measurement-platform experience
