📋 Description

• Provide specialist phone consultations to veterinarians regarding IDEXX laboratory results, diagnostic testing, and treatment options • Leverage IDEXX Reference Laboratory and Point-of-Care diagnostics to support clinical decision-making and improve patient outcomes • Build trusted relationships with veterinary customers through medically accurate, customer-focused advice • Document consultations accurately in CRM systems • Manage a consistent consultation caseload while meeting turnaround-time expectations and maintaining availability during scheduled hours • Collaborate with the Medical Consulting team and pathology, laboratory, customer support, and cross-functional IDEXX teams • Share expertise and contribute to team knowledge and continuous improvement • Participate in team meetings and educational initiatives • Participate in occasional travel for training and development

🎯 Requirements

• Veterinary Science degree recognised in Australia and/or New Zealand • Board-certified Small Animal Internal Medicine Specialist (ACVIM or ECVIM) or equivalent recognised specialist qualification • Maintain registration and credentials required to practise veterinary medicine • Maintain Diplomate status • Advanced knowledge and clinical experience in Small Animal Internal Medicine • Exceptional diagnostic reasoning, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills • Ability to communicate complex clinical information clearly, professionally, and understandably • Ability to build trust, rapport, and long-term professional relationships • Resilience, adaptability, sound judgement, and commitment to continuous learning • Dedicated office space • Comfortable working in a remote, technology-enabled environment with high-speed internet
