📋 Description
• Provide coding and abstracting services for clients on facility same day surgery / observation and interventional radiology CPT records • Review medical records to identify pertinent diagnoses and procedures • Ensure appropriate DRG assignment • Maintain current knowledge of the information contained in the Coding Clinic, CPT Assistant, and the Official Guidelines for Coding and Reporting
🎯 Requirements
• Minimum of 3 - 5 years or more of related medical coding experience • Facility same day surgery / observation and interventional radiology coding • Extensive knowledge of ICD-10-CM and CPS, and CPT coding principles • CCS, CPC or COC certification
