📋 Description

• Support the execution of regional trade compliance programmes across EMEA • Ensure compliance with import/export regulations, customs laws, sanctions and trade controls • Partner with internal teams and external customs brokers to support compliant cross‑border transactions • Monitor regulatory changes and assess business impact across EMEA jurisdictions • Support audits, compliance assessments and corrective action initiatives • Investigate and resolve customs and trade‑related issues, including shipment holds and documentation discrepancies • Prepare compliance reports, metrics and documentation for management and regulatory purposes • Support process improvements, automation and digitalisation initiatives within trade compliance operations • Assist with trade compliance training and awareness activities • Collaborate with global trade compliance teams to align regional practices with corporate policies

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Supply Chain, Business, Law, Finance or a related field • 5+ years’ experience in trade compliance, customs, import/export operations or global trade management • Strong understanding of EMEA customs regulations, export controls, sanctions and international trade requirements • Practical experience with tariff classification, customs valuation, origin determination and customs broker management • Familiarity with EU dual-use regulations, UK export controls and sanctions compliance frameworks preferred • Experience working within multinational or matrix organisations • Strong analytical, organisational and problem‑solving skills • Advanced Excel skills and strong ERP/system knowledge (SAP GTS preferred) • Professional certifications (e.g. customs broker licence or trade compliance certification) are a plus
