📋 Description

• Establish review methodologies, provider education strategies, and success metrics • Work closely with physicians on change management initiatives • Distinguish compliant provider education from leading documentation and partner with legal and compliance stakeholders • Analyze RAF trends, recapture rates, and provider-level variation • Interpret audit findings and translate data into action plans

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field • 5-7+ years in CDI, coding, or risk adjustment • 1-3+ years specifically in outpatient or ambulatory CDI • Licensed clinical background (i.e., RHIA/RHIT, RN, MD/DO, NP, or PA) • CCDS-O (Outpatient) preferred credential, CCDS, CDIP, or CRC accepted with strong outpatient experience • Experience designing and scaling outpatient CDI programs • Understanding of outpatient CDI workflows, including risk adjustment, chronic condition capture, and annual wellness visits • Understanding of CMS risk adjustment rules and audit defensibility • Experience with ambulatory EHRs (Epic preferred)
