📋 Description

• This is a remote position. • We are seeking an AI Prompt Engineer for a contract role with one of our clients in the Financial Services industry. • This is a six (6) month assignment with the possibility of extension. • Prompt Design & Optimization: Develop, refine, and optimize AI prompts for large language models (LLMs) to achieve desired outputs across various use cases. • Experimentation & Testing: Conduct A/B testing of different prompt structures to evaluate effectiveness and fine-tune responses. • Data Analysis & Model Interaction: Analyze AI responses, identify patterns, and adjust prompts for improved accuracy, coherence, and relevance. • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, software engineers, content teams, and product managers to align AI outputs with business objectives. • AI Model Fine-Tuning: Collaborate with ML teams to train and fine-tune AI models, leveraging prompt engineering techniques to enhance performance. • Ethical AI Implementation: Ensure that generated responses align with ethical guidelines, company policies, and industry standards. • Documentation & Best Practices: Maintain a comprehensive repository of tested prompts, strategies, and guidelines to drive continuous improvement.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, AI, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience). • Strong understanding of natural language processing (NLP), machine learning, and AI models (especially LLMs like GPT, Claude, Gemini, or Mistral). • Proven experience in prompt engineering, AI interaction design, or AI content generation. • Familiarity with AI frameworks and APIs such as OpenAI API, Hugging Face, Anthropic, or Google AI. • Ability to analyze AI-generated outputs and iterate prompts for improved clarity, bias mitigation, and accuracy. • Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to experiment and refine approaches iteratively. • Python proficiency is a plus (for scripting, data analysis, or integrating with AI APIs). • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with fine-tuning AI models and Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback (RLHF). • Knowledge of AI safety, bias detection, and ethical considerations in AI deployments. • Background in linguistics, cognitive science, or UX writing is a plus. • Prior experience in technical writing, chatbot development, or AI-driven content generation.
