📋 Description

• Install, maintain, upgrade, and continuously improve the site's operating environment to ensure reliability, performance and security • Monitor and upkeep operating environments; respond to incidents & problems; plan for growth and deploy new technologies • Design, install, configure, maintain and perform testing of PC/server operating systems, networks, and related utilities and hardware • Troubleshoot user-reported problems; support web access and telephony services • Acquire, replace and decommission related equipment, software and services • Participate in development of effective network design and strategy • Provide technical support, maintenance, and guidance on network issues • Perform service monitoring and reporting with focus on risk management and compliance • Explore new solutions, enhancements and continuous improvement opportunities • Provide network troubleshooting and solutions while minimizing downtime • Install and configure network equipment; monitor systems to improve network performance • Lead projects and change management initiatives; manage external service providers and vendors • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Internet Proxy and VPN for secure access • Administer application control policies, application controls, and endpoint security configurations

• Strong customer service orientation • Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills • Good communication (both oral and written) and documentation skills • Good leadership and teamwork skills • Negotiation and conflict resolution skills • Good ability to plan projects and tasks • Good understanding of IT requirements for an end to end solution, including security, business continuity, disaster recovery, risk analysis and preparing business cases • In-depth knowledge of the Windows OS (server and client) and the desktop operating environment • Linux and other mainstream OS knowledge will be helpful • Fundamental knowledge of networking concepts • Fundamental knowledge of ITIL 4 Foundation • Advanced knowledge of infrastructure service management & diagnostic tools and processes • Advanced knowledge of end-point security management tools and processes • Experience handling network security issues (viruses, malware, social engineering) • Understanding of IT Infrastructure asset lifecycle management • Understanding of NIST CSF and 800-171 • 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in a similar role or industry • Bachelor's Degree in related field • Vendor Certifications preferred: CompTIA Security+ or Network+, CheckPoint or FortiGate Firewall, Cisco CCNA or CCNP, Fortinet Certified Professional or Solution Specialist
