• Manage and reconcile daily cash transactions across multiple bank accounts, including auto debits, manual wires, and sweep transfers. • Analyze existing cash processes; identify and implement solutions to optimize the cash application process. • Collaborate with the Accounts Payable team to resolve outstanding checks and maintain a clean cash ledger. • Prepare and analyze monthly cash reports for senior management. • Lead and execute assigned tasks during the month-end close process, ensuring deadlines are met with precision. • Reconcile and balance general ledger accounts, proactively investigating and resolving any variances. • Maintain the fixed asset subledger, ensuring all fixed asset transactions are accurately recorded in compliance with accounting guidelines. • Record prepaid expenses and manage their corresponding amortization schedules. • Contribute to financial projects, such as accounting for corporate credit card expenses and employee travel expense accruals. • Compile, analyze, and prepare journal entries, while providing appropriate supporting documentation. • Ability to take on other Accounting functions to allow for cross training and career development. • Assist with the annual audit by preparing detailed schedules and providing clear, organized documentation to external auditors. • Support pre-audit preparation to uphold the organization’s record of clean audits.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. • 2-5 years of accounting work experience. • Demonstrated proficiency with ERP systems; Workday experience is a plus. • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs). • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Highly motivated with the ability to multitask, work independently and meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy. • Expresses a sense of urgency in completing tasks and takes ownership and responsibility of assigned work. • Ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic changing environment. • Eagerness to continue to learn and take on new tasks.
