📋 Description

• Operate, maintain, and enhance VoIP and Radius systems within high-performance data centers • Develop and improve automated system management using Puppet and Debian-based server clusters • Drive projects within the VoIP and Radius environment across their full lifecycle — from design and implementation to deployment • Perform performance analysis and optimization to ensure system efficiency and reliability • Plan and execute rollouts of new features and system updates • Carry out regular maintenance activities (system expansions, updates, upgrades) • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues in a structured and goal-oriented manner • Coordinate with upstream providers by creating and managing trouble tickets • Participate in an on-call rotation (additional compensation provided)

🎯 Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science, Natural Sciences, or a comparable qualification • Several years of experience in IT operations (FOSS systems or Site Reliability Engineering) • Strong expertise in Linux administration, especially with clustered environments • Practical experience with ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, and Change Management) • Solid understanding of networking (TCP/IP, UDP) • Scripting skills (Bash, Python, Perl) for automation • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills • Experience with virtualization (e.g. KVM, Proxmox, oVirt, OpenStack) – nice to have • Knowledge of VoIP technologies and telephony systems (e.g. Asterisk, Kamailio) – a plus • Experience with FreeRADIUS – a plus • Knowledge of MySQL / MariaDB administration • A proactive, service-oriented mindset and ability to quickly understand complex systems • Good English skills (written and spoken); basic German is an advantage
