📋 Description

• Work in a dynamic, cross-functional environment, supporting infrastructure, databases, data platforms, and monitoring initiatives on GCP • Ensure the availability, support, and evolution of cloud environments • Contribute to operational efficiency and data governance • Administer, support, and monitor environments on Google Cloud Platform • Manage and maintain PostgreSQL databases on Cloud SQL • Provision, configure, and support cloud instances and resources • Create and administer Cloud SQL, Cloud Composer, BigQuery (datasets, tables, and permissions), and Memorystore • Perform database administration operations, including INSERT, UPDATE, and DELETE statements, structural adjustments, and support for business teams • Administer and govern analytical environments and data platforms • Monitor availability and performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement • Handle multiple requests and projects simultaneously, collaborating with technical teams and business units • Provision infrastructure using Terraform (Infrastructure as Code) • Version and manage code using GitLab (Cloud BVS) and GitHub (Cloud EFX)

🎯 Requirements

• Experience administering PostgreSQL databases • Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services • Knowledge of Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Cloud Composer, and Memorystore • Experience using Terraform to provision and manage infrastructure • Knowledge of version control using GitHub and/or GitLab • Experience monitoring environments and resolving incidents • Ability to collaborate across different workstreams and business contexts • Preferred: experience in DataOps environments • Preferred: knowledge of cloud observability and monitoring • Preferred: experience with governance and cost optimization in GCP • Preferred: experience automating processes and managing Infrastructure as Code
