📋 Description

• Set and own the quality and reliability strategy across the mobile and backend domain • Design testability and release-confidence practices across API/contract, native iOS, and Android clients • Build quality gates into release and app-store deployment pipelines • Manage device and OS-version fragmentation coverage and flakiness control at scale using BrowserStack and GitLab CI • Strengthen the backend/API/contract layer and connect it cleanly to mobile clients • Drive cross-team resolution of quality and reliability issues • Work hands-on in the codebase through prototypes, tooling, reference implementations, and incident resolution • Shift quality ownership left into engineering workflows • Mentor senior engineers and accelerate their growth • Run tech talks, workshops, reusable documentation, and pair sessions; co-lead the OneTech community • Co-shape domain technical direction with the SEM and analyze quality trends and metrics • Define quality and reliability metrics and gates and frame risk in business terms for EMs, SEMs, and PMs • Define AI adoption for quality and engineering productivity, including tools and workflows • Design AI-assisted workflows and establish governance and data-security standards • Assess and manage AI usage risks, including production-facing work • Mentor engineers on responsible AI use and report on its ROI

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience • Track record operating at Staff / Principal / Tech Lead / Architect level, with proven impact beyond a single team • Proven experience testing in at least one mobile platform (iOS or Android) using market-standard approaches • Commercial, working-level experience testing native mobile apps • Deep ownership of quality and reliability as an engineering discipline • Experience setting standards and designing testing/quality strategy, with measurable outcome improvements • Proven shift-left experience before code is written, with measurable results • Strong hands-on engineering foundation, including reading, reviewing, and writing production-quality code • Experience leading technical and process change directly with development teams • Hands-on experience using AI and assessing its risks • Fluent English • Experience with BrowserStack and CI/CD (GitLab) is a strong plus • Snapshot testing experience, such as swift-snapshot-testing or Paparazzi, and introducing mock-based testing standards is a strong plus • Experience in logistics or e-commerce is a strong plus • Polish fluency is a strong plus • Familiarity with Appium is nice to have • Experience applying AI in engineering/testing workflows is nice to have • ISTQB Advanced Level – Test Automation Engineer certification is nice to have
