📋 Description

• Educate and support team in understanding the complexities of commercial trucking insurance • Develop and deliver training programs on trucking insurance policies, procedures and regulations for new and existing agents • Help coach and equip new trucking sales agents in effective prospecting, relationship-building, persuasive presentations, and closing techniques • Document and maintain up-to-date training manuals, classes, SOPs, and video tutorials • Collaborate with management to improve workflows and reduce errors • Create training materials, manuals, and e-learning modules • Stay current with industry trends, FMCSA regulations, and insurance best practices • Conduct assessments to evaluate training effectiveness and identify areas for improvement • Collaborate with underwriting, claims, and compliance teams to ensure training aligns with operational needs • Provide one-on-one coaching and support as needed • May need to cross train in Personal Lines and other Commercial Lines

🎯 Requirements

• Prior experience in training, coaching, or instructional design is highly preferred – Remote training experience is a plus • Minimum 3 years of successful experience as a trucking insurance agent (selling, servicing, renewals) • Able to create training documents, videos (Canva or similar), call monitoring and process guides, and training syllabi for positions • Highly organized, self-motivated, and patient • Be comfortable to work with various bilingual staff members • Strong understanding of FMCSA regulations and DOT compliance • Excellent communication and presentation skills. • Ability to simplify complex insurance concepts for diverse audiences. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and learning management systems (LMS).
