📋 Description

• Own and author High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation for integration solutions • Create UML diagrams using Draw.io or equivalent • Define integration patterns and drive solution architecture, articulating design decisions and trade-offs • Apply software and enterprise integration design patterns • Design event-driven and messaging architectures with reliability patterns • Design and develop integration solutions, APIs, and workflows using C# / .NET Core • Implement event-driven, asynchronous, and messaging-based integration patterns • Apply API design best practices and manage APIs through Azure API Management • Design and optimise Azure Functions workloads • Optimise Azure SQL / Entity Framework databases • Enhance and maintain existing systems and interfaces • Ensure coding standards and secure development practices • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps • Manage source code using Git-based workflows • Support automated deployment across environments • Participate in PI Planning, sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand-ups, and retrospectives • Contribute to estimation, capacity planning, and delivery commitments • Track work in Jira • Provide L3 escalation support and support L1/L2 engineers with incidents • Perform root cause analysis and resolve incidents within SLAs • Monitor, optimise, and improve system stability and performance • Produce runbooks, operational guides, and release notes • Complete knowledge transfer to support teams

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years' experience in software development • Strong hands-on expertise in integration and API development • Proven solution-design ownership • Proficiency in C# / .NET Core • HLD/LLD authoring and UML-based design using Draw.io or equivalent • Knowledge of software and integration design patterns • Ability to explain design decisions and trade-offs confidently • Experience with event-driven architecture and messaging, including retries, dead-letter queues, and idempotency • Experience with Azure Integration Services: Function Apps, Logic Apps, Service Bus, and API Management • Database and performance optimisation skills, including indexing, execution plans, and query tuning • Proficiency in Azure DevOps and Git • Knowledge of CI/CD practices and automated deployment • Agile / Scrum delivery experience
