📋 Description

• Provide assigned physical therapy services to patients in accordance with the established physician plan of care and in compliance with regulations, policies and procedures • Assess patient performance commensurate with training and qualifications • Recommend equipment or alteration to architectural barriers to the therapist of record • Responsible for therapeutic exercise, functional training, manual therapy techniques, prescription, application, and fabrication of devices and equipment, airway clearance techniques, wound management, and electrotherapeutic modalities • Educate patients and other stakeholders • Communicate and document treatment and charges per policy • Act as clinical instructor and/or assist with orientation of new employees or volunteers • Report to the Licensed Physical Therapist • Potential exposure to infections, blood and body fluids, electrical equipment, chemicals; follow standard precautions

🎯 Requirements

• 1 year of experience as a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant, preferably in an acute care or rehabilitation setting • Associate's degree for Physical Therapy Assistant approved by the American Physical Therapy Association • PTA (Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant) • BLS (Basic Life Support) Issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association • Must be able to communicate effectively in English (verbal/written) • Current Oklahoma State Drivers License • Driving record acceptable to insurance carrier
