📋 Description

• Overall responsibility for ongoing financial accounting in collaboration with the Head of Finance • Independently prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in DATEV • Manage and optimize upstream systems, particularly easybill and Finway • Ensure seamless interfaces with DATEV • Continuously develop and standardize accounting processes, with a focus on digitalization, efficiency, and reporting • Monitor outstanding receivables and manage and optimize the dunning process • Collaborate closely with the Head of Finance • Act as a point of contact for auditors, tax advisors, and internal departments • Prepare financial reports and analyze relevant key figures for management and the executive team • Take on functional leadership of the accounting team in the future • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes as well as audits • Develop accounting into a scalable organization

🎯 Requirements

• Completed commercial training, e.g., as a tax clerk, or further training as a certified accountant (IHK) • Several years of professional experience in financial accounting • Ideally, experience in a digitally oriented mid-sized company or scale-up • Very good knowledge of DATEV • Experience with upstream systems such as easybill, Finway, or comparable tools • Knowledge of the principles of proper accounting (GoB) • Proven ability to independently prepare monthly and annual financial statements • Confident use of MS Excel • Willingness and ability to optimize processes and drive digitalization forward • Structured, independent, and precise working style • High level of reliability • Clear communication skills and enjoyment of teamwork • Willingness to assume functional responsibility in the future
