📋 Description

• Intuition Machines security products used at scale; best-known product: the hCaptcha security suite. • High-agency, small teams, rapid iteration; AI/ML at the core; distributed team around the world. • Develop, support, and maintain core hCaptcha application tools and services that detect and verify user events; work closely with Security and Machine Learning engineers. • Use JavaScript and/or Go to build scalable, low-latency systems impacting global users. • Practice DevSecOps: handle operations around your code including security implementations, monitoring, automation, and production systems. • Interact directly with enterprise customers and startups alongside product, customer success, and sales teams. • Responsibilities include collaborating to execute fraud detection solutions, designing features for low-latency and high-availability, writing maintainable tested code, and participating in on-call and code reviews. • Learn to work with systems serving hundreds of millions of daily users and deepen security and ML expertise.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in backend engineering roles. • Proven experience building scalable solutions with JavaScript and/or Go. • Expertise in Web APIs, HTTP, SSL, and database management. • Strong background with serverless and containerization architectures. • Proficiency in network protocols and distributed systems. • Production experience with Python, Rust, or C++ (nice to have). • Knowledge of security frameworks (OWASP, CISA), attack vectors, botnets, etc. (nice to have). • Experience developing CI/CD pipelines, metrics-driven deployments, and managing system resources (nice to have).
