📋 Description

• Install, support, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Intuitive products in the assigned territory • Fulfill service agreements and warranty obligations while exceeding customer expectations • Serve as a senior da Vinci Surgical technical expert across all system platforms • Perform scheduled maintenance, system inspections, preventive maintenance, software updates, recalls, field actions, and upgrades • Diagnose and repair Intuitive products and associated equipment within designated timeframes • Coordinate and perform system and hardware delivery and installation • Complete administrative duties including spare parts inventory, Field Activity Reports, Return Material Authorizations, and expense reports • Maintain company-issued tooling, calibrated tool sets, vehicle, laptops, iPads, and other assets • Support Intuitive teams, including sales trade shows, customer phone support, and hospital contact coordination • Provide feedback to headquarters and participate in continuous improvement projects • Complete required equipment training, Intuitive Surgical University classes, and professional development courses • Manage the assigned territory, customer needs, install-base configurations, customer contacts, relationships, training, and events • Mentor junior Field Service Engineers on maintenance, customer service, and administrative functions • Participate in new product introduction initiatives • Participate in regional continuous process improvement projects with management, product support, engineering, and cross-functional groups • Support service contract renewals

🎯 Requirements

• University or college degree in science or technical engineering, or equivalent • Alternatively, 5 years of equivalent work experience • Alternatively, 3 years of experience and a Master’s degree • Alternatively, a PhD without experience • Strong written and oral communication skills in the market’s local language(s) and English • Strong interpersonal skills • Strong technical knowledge of Intuitive Surgical products, with time served • Teaching and presentation skills • Strong administrative and record keeping skills • Knowledge of Operating Room protocol preferred • Track record of solid customer relationships with surgeons and hospital staff preferred • Proven ability to independently troubleshoot complex electro-mechanical systems • Ability to travel up to 50–70%, dependent upon account distribution and region • Subject to applicable U.S. export controls, export license and/or Technology Control Plan requirements may apply
