• Perform service work within an assigned territory, including maintenance, repair, commissioning, and software updates of Intuitive products. • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair technical faults on all Intuitive systems and associated devices in accordance with established processes and service level agreements. • Accurately document all service and repair activities. • Coordinate and carry out system and hardware deliveries, installations, and commissioning. • Independently handle all administrative tasks, including spare parts management, service reports, returns processing (RMA), expense reports, and other field service documentation within specified timeframes. • Act as the technical interface between the manufacturer and the customer. • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships, including ensuring correct base system configurations. • Provide technical customer support during operational use. • Support customer trainings, briefings, and events as needed. • Provide support and coverage in adjacent or neighboring service areas as required.
• Completed training in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable technical qualification. • Several years of professional experience in medical technology, ideally with knowledge of operating room workflows and clinical processes. • Solid technical knowledge, particularly in working with complex electromechanical systems. • Experience in field service with the ability to independently analyze and resolve faults in complex technical systems. • Strong team orientation and the ability to work independently and responsibly. • Very good written and verbal communication skills in German and English; French skills are an advantage. • High social competence and a professional demeanor when interacting with customers and internal contacts. • Structured and reliable administrative working style with strong documentation skills. • High willingness to travel (approx. 50–70%), depending on region and customer distribution.
