📋 Description

• Install, support, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Intuitive products in the assigned territory • Fulfill service agreements and warranty obligations while exceeding customer expectations • Mentor junior Field Service Engineers on maintenance, customer service, and administrative functions • Perform regional administrative tasks • Participate in new product introductions and process improvement initiatives • Act as a senior da Vinci Surgical technical expert across all system platforms • Perform scheduled maintenance, including system inspections, preventive maintenance, software updates, recalls, field actions, and upgrades • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Intuitive products and associated equipment • Coordinate and perform system and hardware delivery and installation • Complete administrative duties, including spare parts inventory, Field Activity Reports, Return Material Authorizations, and expense reports • Maintain issued tooling, calibrated tool sets, employee vehicle, laptops, iPads, and other company assets • Support Intuitive teams through trade show support, customer phone support, and provision of hospital contacts • Provide feedback to HQ and participate in continuous improvement projects • Complete required equipment training, Intuitive Surgical University classes, and professional development courses • Manage the assigned territory, including customer needs, system install-base configurations, customer contacts, customer relationships, training, and events • Participate in new product introduction and regional process improvement initiatives • Support service contract renewals

🎯 Requirements

• University or college degree in science or technical engineering, or equivalent • Alternatively, 5 years of equivalent work experience, or 3 years of experience and a Master’s degree, or a PhD without experience • Strong written and oral communication skills in the market’s local language(s) and English • Strong interpersonal skills • Strong technical knowledge of Intuitive Surgical products, with time served • Teaching and presentation skills • Strong administrative and record-keeping skills • Knowledge of Operating Room protocol preferred • Track record of solid customer relationships with Surgeons and Hospital staff preferred • Proven ability to independently troubleshoot complex electro-mechanical systems • Ability to travel up to 50–70%, dependent upon account distribution and region
