📋 Description

• Build, maintain, and improve backend services • Develop integrations • Troubleshoot production issues • Contribute to the reliability and performance of complex software systems • Lead and support a team responsible for keeping client systems running smoothly • Manage and investigate support tickets from clients, including errors, configuration requests, and operational issues • Analyze logs, API behavior, monitoring alerts, and system data to identify root causes • Coordinate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to resolve issues efficiently • Make or coordinate configuration changes within the system based on client needs • Use Datadog or similar platforms to monitor system health and performance • Use Postman, Insomnia, or curl to test requests, validate behavior, and troubleshoot issues

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, including building and supporting production applications • Proven experience leading or coordinating engineering, support, or technical operations teams • Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot, including REST controllers, dependency injection, configuration, and backend service development • Experience designing, developing, and maintaining RESTful APIs and microservices • Experience with JUnit, Mockito, or similar testing frameworks • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and software engineering best practices • Experience working with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases, as well as relational databases such as PostgreSQL • Experience with Redis or similar caching technologies • Familiarity with AWS or comparable cloud platforms • Understanding of microservices communication patterns, including asynchronous messaging and event-driven architectures • Daily hands-on experience using AI development tools such as Claude Code or similar for coding, debugging, testing, and improving development workflows • Ability to review, validate, and take ownership of AI-generated code • Experience troubleshooting production issues, performing root cause analysis, and implementing reliable fixes • Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and professional software development practices • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills • Strong English communication skills – C1 level proficiency • Send your application and CV in English (mandatory) • Based in Latin America • Experience with Python or TypeScript • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes • Familiarity with Datadog, Sentry, or similar observability tools • Experience with logistics, shipping, supply chain, or B2B SaaS platforms • Experience integrating third-party APIs or external service providers • Experience with message queues and event-driven systems • Experience building AI agents, custom skills, MCP servers, or engineering automations using Claude Code, Claude API, or similar technologies • Experience creating technical documentation and context files for AI development tools • Experience with performance optimization, database indexing, and distributed systems
