📋 Description

• Work across frontend and backend systems • Build scalable applications • Improve existing functionality • Modernize complex software • Work with large codebases and understand existing business logic • Implement customized solutions while maintaining code quality and system reliability • Analyze and improve complex SQL queries and database performance • Design, develop, and maintain REST APIs and backend services • Modernize, refactor, or migrate legacy applications while preserving business functionality • Troubleshoot and improve application and database performance • Investigate existing systems and solve complex technical problems • Collaborate with distributed technical teams

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience • Strong expertise in TypeScript for frontend and backend development • Strong hands-on experience with React for production user-facing applications • Strong hands-on experience with Express.js for backend development and API implementation • Strong experience with SQL optimization, including complex query analysis and database performance improvement • Proficiency with PostgreSQL and relational database design • Experience designing, developing, and maintaining REST APIs and backend services • Experience working with large, complex, or highly customized software systems • Experience modernizing, refactoring, or migrating legacy applications while preserving existing business functionality • Ability to understand complex existing business logic and translate it into clean, maintainable solutions • Strong understanding of full-stack architecture, clean code, testing, and software engineering best practices • Experience troubleshooting and improving application and database performance • Ability to work independently, investigate existing systems, and solve complex technical problems • Strong collaboration and communication skills with distributed technical teams • Strong English communication skills, minimum B2 level proficiency • Application and CV in English are mandatory • Based in Latin America
