📋 Description

• Test all software releases, including new features, enhancements, and fixes for bugs and defects. • Design, implement, and conduct test and evaluation procedures to ensure system requirements are met. • Develop, release, and maintain manual and automated test procedures. • Work across teams and coding platforms such as Appian, Service Now, Archibus. • Perform and document exploratory testing results. • Test STIGs for functionality on IT systems. • Evaluate, recommend, and implement automated test tools and strategies. • Report status of test cases to project leads. • Work with product owners to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios and deadlines. • Support customer UAT events.

🎯 Requirements

• Six (6) years of experience in Software testing, to include: designing, implementing, and conducting test and evaluation procedures. • Automate software testing processes, and conduct software performance analysis. • Conduct white-box testing, black-box testing, end-to-end testing, integration testing, and regression testing. • QA documentation (test cases & scenarios, RTM) and bug documentation in ticket tracking system. • Identify risks and constrains, contingency plans and test deliverables. • Experience may be achieved simultaneously. • Prior Navy related experience preferred. • DoD 8570 IAT (Information Assurance Technical) Level II training desired. • Prefer candidate to have at least one of the following: CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate Security), CySA+ (CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst), GICSP (Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional), GSEC (GIAC Security Essentials Certification), CompTIA Security+ CE, CND (Certified Network Defender), or SSCP (Systems Security Certified Practitioner). • Personal skills such as a self starter, good communicator, organization, multi tasking, works well with a team, good collaborator, good with quick deadlines. • Experience in remote work environments.
